OUR IMPACT

How we know we're making a difference

Since 2017 we have made tremendous strides within the districts of Uganda, including Jinja, Mayuge, Bukiwe, Iganga, Wakiso and Kampala. We’ve helped women and girls understand menstruation. Check out some examples of our impacts below.

MENSTRUAL HEALTH AWARENESS IN SCHOOLS

As of 2022, we've conducted menstrual health awareness training in 16 primary, 29 secondary and 4 tertiary institutions, reaching over 5,460 students (female and male).

LOOKING AHEAD

Our targets for 2025

We've achieved so much already, but we're not stopping here! By 2025 we hope to donate over 30,000 reusable pads to those in need, hold a further 85 menstrual health awareness sessions and work with 14,500 more girls and women.

Our Yearly Commitments

1) Work with seven schools and four communities to deliver menstrual health and hygiene training sessions

2) Spready awareness of menstrual health and rights through our social media platforms

3) Engage with new partner organisations and stakeholders

4) Develop new learning material to target young people

5) Produce 10,000 reusable pads per year
